If anyone ever asked me (they haven’t) how I think of this blog, my answer would be, “it’s a diary of my crafting exploits that other people sometimes read.”

Which is mostly accurate. Mostly. But unlike a real diary, the fact that there are sometimes readers, means that I concern myself with being respectful of the reader’s time and whether what I post might actually interest anyone.

Being an obsessive worrier about such thing means I don’t post many items that are only important to me. Ergo, the whole “diary” aspect is somewhat lost.

And that’s not all that’s lost. I’ve lost pictures of some of my past projects because I never posted them here. So, I’m going to try something new. I’m going to pictures pictures (or maybe cryptic notes), without any explanations — pretty much post-it notes to myself.

Anyone subscribed to this blog will get noticed when these “Nobody Else Cares/Understands” posts go up and I apologize for that. I apologize, because I’m going to at least try to ignore the fact that this will annoy the sometimes readers out there.

I love it when you read here (love it even more when you comment) and I don’t want to annoy you, but I once made a 1/144 scale jack-o-lantern and I no longer have a picture of it.

My gratitude goes out to the readers who aren’t annoyed by such things (you are appreciated more than you know). <3 And so it begins (nope, those aren't 1/144 scale, they're 1/48 scale). bench top

I think we are interested in your art and your process, so we are interested. I would much rather have too many posts that go another 6 months without one! Post on!

Expletive A – 1/1444 that’s like a self lobotomy no wonder you are dispirited not to find any photos.
I am looking forward to these posts it will be like going to an estate sale where they let you look through all the drawers until you find the perfect item you just have to own, but never thought about it until you laid eyes on it!
Besides it’s your blog and if the masses don’t like it they can go back to Barney’s blog and be one big family! Oooh did I say that out loud?

And I love the estate sale comparison. Welcome to my drawers!
